Recycling Printer Cartridges

We all have them and we all need them; almost every home these days has a printer. They are handy for making flyers, resumes, term papers, etc. But the cost and bulk of printer cartridges can be annoying and expensive.

Now there is a way to recycle your printer cartridges and get a deal on new ones just for your effort. Most major office supply stores such as Office Depot have a recycling center where you can drop off your used cartridges of any kind.

But wait, do not just plop it into the box unless you have checked in their for sale cartridge section. If they carry the recycled printer cartridge, you often get a discount for brining one in. So hold onto your used cartridge and show it to the cashier if you are purchasing the recycled versions. New versions of cartridges may take a few months after they are introduced to the public market because people have to recycle them for the store to recycle them.

These recycled cartridges are made from the ones people have recycled at their store. They are usually sold under the store name brand and work great and often at a reduced cost. So no more worries about the cost and waste of ink cartridges. Print away without guilt.
